This is a pretty minor post. I don’t want to dwell too much on something like this, but I can’t ignore it, it was pretty significant.
When Ben killed Keamy it was pretty dramatic and intriguing. That was the first time, I believe, that we get to see Ben lose control. He literally freaked out. Ben, up until this point, has hid emotions and only reavealed things when it furthered his goals.
A suprising thing, I think, was that before the goring of Keamy, when they were walking Ben throught the jungle Ben asked Keamy, “Did Charles Whidmore tell you to kill my daughteer?” And it really sounded like a question. Keamy didn’t asnwer but the truth is we don’t really know. There’s a high chance Keamy just did it to anger Ben or out of stupidity.
Either way it was interesting to see Ben go crazy, but hopefully he gets control of himself before he does anything crazy like killing Penny.

Did you know there is speculation online that Ben was faking that freakout?
I do not believe that.
I agree with you that this is the first time we have truly seen Ben act on emotion in an uncontrolled fashion.
I think it is worth noting that whenever Ben does act emotionally – people die. His father, Juliet’s lover and Keamy. As far as we know.
The other two were more calculated murders (and one not really by his own hand – but his exchange with Juliet over the body revealed his intent) – or were they?
After all, the only thing we know about Ben is that he always has a plan.
