I’m almost done overanalyzing the season 4 finale. And somehow I haven’t run out of things to write about. As I’m coming in to the home stretch I’m going to review what I have done and what I am going to do.
Here’s a list of what I have done up until today, I’ll link the article and say what it was about:
- Sawyer’s Fate & Juliet (& Sawyer) – I think Sawyer and Juliet will hook up, but not permanently, just until Kate comes back and only to prolong the sexual tension between Kate and Sawyer.
- Jin & Daniel’s Fate - I think Jin survived, will be piced up by Daniel in the zodiak, and Daniel will go a little crazy becuase the island ”moved” so close to him.
- Suns Experience & Sun Talking to Whidmore – I think either sun’s a bitch and she’s selling out Desmond to get to the island, or she’s joining with Mr. Whidmore to kill or hurt Ben.
- Michael’s Last Scene & Harold Perrineau’s Anger – I think that Michael was moderately redeamed, and that Harold is a fool for being angry.
- Hurley’s First Flashforward (in the premiere) – I still don’t understand why Hurley said he should have gone with Jack… that’s it.
- Kates Rebuttal to Jack’s Idea – I’m happy that Kate called out Jack on his outrageousness, and I believe Kate will eventually end up with Sawyer.
- Desmond and Penny Reuniting – The happiest moment of the show, and the scene that made this season the best. I can’t even describe how happy I was, oh actually I can, and I did.
- Ben’s Freakout – No predictions, just a little surprised at Ben and his anger in this scene.
- The Island Moving (part 1) – Maybe the island moved in time.
- The Island Moving (part 2) – Or maybe it moved in space.
- The Island Moving (part 3) - The island’s been moved before, but when and how.
- The Island Moving (part 3) – Why did the island even have to move?
- New Narnian Theory - My old Narnian Theory and a possible Prince Caspian reference in Lost
So that’s what I have. Here’s what I will have very soon:
- Who Was in the Coffin – June 23 – It’s not a question. I’m talking about who I expected to see in the coffin and why I was relieved, also what I think will happen to Locke now that he’s dead.
- Walt’s Surprise Appearance – June 24 – Yay Walt came back! What I think about the character and why and how I think he will come back next season.
- Lockes On-Island Problems – June 25 – What I think may have happened after the Oceanic 6 left the Island, what happened to the Island and everyone still on the island.
- Jack and Co. Getting Back to the Island – June 27 – My final post about the S4 finale (at least for now) and my longest. The people I believe will go back to the island, also how they are going to find the island.
Those last two posts will probably be the most significant, I’ll talk about every character and do some serious fortelling. After that last post I’m going to start working on rewatching the old episodes. I’ll probably start that on Wednesday (July 2) that should give you a couple days to decypher what I was trying to say in my last post.
