ABC just released the promo pictures for the main cast members for Season 6. Click the “read more” link to see them all. Some people might consider these pictures spoilers. That’s crazy talk if you ask me, but I try to respect the insane among us.
I also talk a little about the official cast list for Season 6.
Extremely minor CASTING SPOILERS below.
Get your calendars out. The season 6 premiere will be on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. They’ll have their usual useless clip show first, from 8:00-9:00. Then there will be a 2 hour premiere from 9:00-11:00. After that Lost will stay in the Tuesday 9:00 timeslot. I’ll repeat that for people who don’t read well:
So the show is moving to Tuesdays. That’s fine with me. I’d prefer Wednesdays, but Tuesday at 9:00 is good too. I’m 100% sure that I won’t be watching the episode live, but that’s fine. I just got a new PC, and I’ve become obsessed with Windows Media Center. Wednesdays were better but Thursdays were painful (for a while there it looked like ABC was going to move Lost into Ugly Betty’s old spot). I also look forward to blogging more throughout the week. When it’s on Wednesdays then I have to stay up all night to write it, because I watch ten other shows on Thursdays. Hopefully I can get a more healthy blogging schedule this year.
Here’s something that I’m a little concerned about, someone said that Lost would take a hiatus during the Winter Olympics. I’m OK with that, I’ll be all over the Olympics (I happen to reside nearby), but the Olympics are from February 12-28. That means we’ll get two episodes then two weeks off then the rest of the episodes. That sounds a little crazy. And I don’t really understand why ABC cares at all about the Olympics. NBC has the broadcast rights, as usual. Does ABC plan to suspend all their shows during those two weeks? It’s not like the Olympics are going to pull in crazy numbers or anything. Remember Lost is usually up against American Idol.

Did you guys see this? I heard nothing about this until today. This is a teaser for the final season of Lost. Apparently it aired after the finale.

Let’s try to analyze those 13 seconds.
First of all, the words seem to be made of some kind of cloud, that’s all I can see back there. It’s definitely the same footage over and over again when they change the words. That doesn’t really tell me much. Perhaps they’re hinting at a hydrogen bomb explosion.
The eye, now there’s something real. I think everyone is going to think that the eye is Jack. We’ve seen that scene with Jack twice now. But I think it could be Juliet. Watch it again…. see what I mean. I may be grasping at straws.

How is Season 5 going to end? As we draw closer to the finale that is the question on everyone’s mind.
I’ve had many mini theories about the ending during the season , I’ve discarded most of them. I must admit that I knew pretty far in advance what the episode was called, “The Incident”, so that was a big hint. I remember thinking very early on in the season that the it would end with the Oceanic 6 coming back, the skipping stopping and a big reunion. This season moved way faster than I expected, I was completely shocked when the Oceanic “6” came to the Island in episode six. After Jughead aired I expected the season to end with a large hydrogen bomb going off. I discarded that theory an episode after Jughead (and apparently that was too soon). After that I just got caught up in the story.
So here we are. The finale starts tomorrow, what do we think will happen? Will Jack change the past by blowing up Jughead? Will Locke kill Jacob? Will the Third Party succeed in it’s…plan? Will Sawyer and Juliet get off the Island and live happily ever after? Will anyone die? What will the cliffhanger be? What will season 6 look like?
