617 – The End – Jin & Sun

Jin & Sun

Off the Island

Jin & Sun’s Flash was definitely the sweetest, possibly the most magical one.  I actually really enjoyed it.  It was very dramatic, and appropriately understated.  It was also kinda fun that they didn’t tell Juliet anything, it preserved her surprise for later.  It was a nice ending to their story.  It wasn’t necessary for them to go through anything else.  It’s not like they had any obstacles to overcome, they just had to remember.

-I was very surprised when Jin and Sun flashed back on their deaths.  That changed everything.  I didn’t realize how important it was, at the time, but it was surprising.

-Too bad Jin couldn’t make it to Aaron’s second birthing.  The whole crew could have been there.

-It was nice that they didn’t reveal anything to Sawyer either.  But they may have been enjoying themselves too much, grinning like fools.

I love them sooo much. I’m sad I won’t be seeing them in any more episodes.

    I really liked their Flash.

I hadn’t thought it significant that they remembered their death — I just thought that was natural because we already knew they were dead…hmmmm…

Their relationship, story, always made me cry. In the recaps before the finale, when they showed Jin going down with the frieghter, and Sun screaming, and all their stuff happy and sad, I was bawling all over again.
Daniel Kim said it well when he said this show took many stereotypes(like the Kwons, and Sayid to name a few) and turned them all on their heads.
Their Flash was one of the sweetest for sure.
