First of all I should say SPOILER ALERT. I personally don’t think that anything that happens at Comic-Con is a spoiler but some people do. So you’ve been warned.

DarkUFO recently posted a link to this video from abc.com. It’s a fake documentary program about the Dharma Initiative. So far it is mostly just stock footage with a foreboding voice-over but there are still four more videos that are going to be posted over the next few months.
This one is a little different than usual. We should be getting used to having a new Alternate Reality Game announced at Comic-Con and starting in the Fall, but this one is a little too ‘Reality’ and not very ‘Alternate’.
It’s called Lost University and it’s an obviously an official site created by ABC about Lost (there’s no ambiguity this time). It’s not about Dharma or the Hanso Corporation or anything like that. It’s actually about Lost. I’m finding it hard to wrap my brain around it.

122- Born to Run
During a random story-related conversation Locke touches Walt. After they touch Walt gives Locke a strange look and the following conversation ensues:
LOCKE: What’s the matter?
WALT: Don’t open it.
LOCKE: What’d you say?
WALT: Don’t open it, Mr. Locke. Don’t open that thing.
LOCKE: What? What thing?
WALT: Just don’t open it.

Locke reunites with Walt and they have this conversation:
WALT: Hey, John.
LOCKE: Hi, Walt.
WALT: What happened?
LOCKE: I hurt my leg. You don’t seem surprised to see me.
WALT: I’ve been having dreams about you. You were on the Island, wearing a suit, and there are people all around you. They wanted to hurt you, John.
Analysis
Episode:In the Flashback Walt is sitting reading a book about a specific bird, Walt starts feeling ignored, and lo and behold the bird appears.
Later in the episode Walt is reading the famous Polar Bear comic. Michael, in an uncharacteristic fit of rage, destroys the comic. Walt feels angry. Later still, Walt is trapped by a Polar Bear in a bamboo grove.
Walt isn’t actually in this Missing Piece, but Ben and Juliet refer to him and it seems as though the Others are trying to brainwash him in Room 23. He’s scaring everyone by unknown means and Juliet is trying to convince Ben that he’s dangerous. He says Walt’s “special” and that Jacob wants him there. Juliet proceeds to show Ben a pile of birds outside the boarded up window of Room 23.
Episode:Claire has a frightening dream where she finds herself depregnantized and searching for her child. She follows the crying noises to a table where Locke is sitting, shuffling through Tarot cards.
While still looking down he says:
CLAIRE: What’s happening?
LOCKE: You know what’s happening.
CLAIRE: But I don’t understand. Why –?
LOCKE: He was your responsibility but you gave him away, Claire. Everyone pays the price now.
Then Locke looks up at her and you can clearly see that he has one black eye and one white eye.
